Now Available: NAFCU's Updated Training Course for New Credit Union Staff |
|
NAFCU has updated its free, member-only New Staff Training course, which has been designed to assist in the onboarding of credit union staff as they enter the credit union industry. Modules taught by NAFCU staff and other industry leaders will cover the basics and allow your credit union's internal training team to focus on organization-specific processes.
We know how important your staff is to the success of your credit union, said NAFCU Executive Vice President and COO Anthony Demangone. NAFCU has developed over five hours of complimentary content to benefit your credit union throughout the onboarding process. The recently updated New Staff Training course is designed to help your newly hired staff comfortably execute their role by providing them with the industry knowledge necessary to do so.
In the series of 10 training modules, new staff members will learn how the credit union industry developed and how credit unions are regulated today. Following each module, viewers will be assessed on what they have learned.
The modules which can be accessed any time from NAFCUs Online Training Center include:
Introduction to the World of Credit Unions;
Privacy and Security Issues;
Credit Union Share Insurance;
Pursuit of Excellence;
Discrimination issues for Credit Unions;
BSA Training for Staff;
Cybersecurity 101;
Preventing Workplace Harassment and Discrimination;
Introduction to Regulations; and
Robbery Prevention.
