| Credit Union champions Win big in first Set of Primaries |

America’s Credit Unions PAC started off the election cycle strong with 31 PAC-backed candidates winning their primaries races in Arkansas, North Carolina, and Texas.
In Texas, Sen. John Cornyn, who took 41% of the vote, is heading to a runoff race on May 26th against attorney general Ken Paxton. Also to watch in Texas, former hill staffer Tom Sell will be heading to a runoff in Texas’ 19th Congressional District but is expected to make it to the general election. Jessica Steinmann, former litigation attorney, easily won her primary for a seat in Texas’ 8th Congressional District with 68% of the vote.
In North Carolina, all credit union champions supported by the PAC won their races, but additional runoffs and the general election will continue to be notable due to re-districting.
