|
The premier global gathering of the credit union movement, the World Credit Union Conference (WCUC) takes place July 19 to 22, in Sydney, Australia. Co-hosted by the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) and Australia’s Customer Owned Banking Association (COBA), the event brings together leaders from across continents to exchange ideas, strengthen collaboration, and advance cooperative finance on an international stage.
WOCCU and COBA expect to welcome more than 2,500 credit union professionals from 60 countries down under to experience four days of education, networking, engagement and cooperation.
WCUC keynote speakers include:
• Recording artist Freddie Ravel, to demonstrate how harmony, rhythm and alignment drive high-performing teams and resilient organizations;
• CEO and master interviewer Holly Ransom, who will equip leaders to ask better questions, challenge assumptions and accelerate meaningful change across sectors; and
• The Honorable Julia Gillard AC, the 27th Prime Minister of Australia, to bring her perspective on global statesmanship, resilience, and inclusive economic growth.
The agenda also includes 28 breakout sessions on topics including: advocacy and regulations; digital technology; artificial intelligence; and membership growth. Beyond the conference, attendees can experience Sydney through curated excursions, including boat cruises, day tours and other unique local experiences, offering additional opportunities to connect in a more informal setting.
Early bird registration is available for WCUC through April 2.
