| Comment on NCUA’s Share Insurance Proposal |
|
Credit unions still have time to submit feedback on the NCUA’s proposal to amend its share regulation requirements, but the deadline is rapidly approaching. A Regulatory Comment alert features detailed information on the proposal and how to submit comments.
Issued as part of the agency’s Deregulation Project, the changes would streamline the NCUA’s share insurance regulations by removing duplicative components. This means credit unions would be required to check fewer sources without altering compliance obligations.
Send comments to America’s Credit Unions by June 22 to help frame up its own comment letter. Comments are due to the NCUA by July 6.
