| NCUA Chairman to address Credit Unions at Caucus |
|
Newly sworn-in NCUA Chairman John Crews will address attendees at Congressional Caucus, his first in-person speaking event as chairman. Set for Sept. 14–15 in Washington, D.C., credit union executives, communicators, and advocates will convene and engage directly with congressional leaders and administration officials.
In addition to Crews, Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott (R-SC) and House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA) will address the audience. Keynotes include Punchbowl News co-founders Jake Sherman and Anna Palmer, pollster Molly Murphy, and Maslansky + Partners CEO Michael Maslansky.
Other general and breakout sessions will examine pressing policy issues affecting the financial services sector, including interchange fee regulations, digital assets, credit card interest rate caps, household affordability, and expanded lending authorities.
