| Peer Collaboration on Compliance, risk provides value for Credit Unions |
|
As compliance and risk responsibilities continue to grow in complexity, credit union leaders are increasingly turning to peer networks and specialized resources to help navigate change.
In a new post on the America’s Credit Unions Blog, Fabiana Burkett, chief risk officer at Orange County's Credit Union in Santa Ana, Calif., says membership in the Compliance & Risk Council has provided critical support through valuable resources and the collective wisdom of her peers.
Burkett emphasized that today’s leaders face mounting pressure to evolve and adapt while balancing competing priorities and limited resources. Through Council membership, she has gained access to a helpful community that brings “fresh perspectives, new insights, and enthusiasm for the industry.”
