| Compliance Navigator series launches, Examines Reg E |
|
A new compliance series designed as practical guides to translate regulatory requirements into easy-to-follow operational tools for credit union compliance professionals is now available to America’s Credit Unions members.
The first entry in the “Compliance Navigator” series covers Regulation E, which implements the Electronic Fund Transfers Act and defines the rights and duties of consumers and financial institutions for the use of electronic fund transfers (EFTs).
The resource includes a timeline that provides a quick, easy-to-follow guide to key deadlines and required actions when handling a Regulation E error, as well as information on special timing rules.
Compliance Navigator guides will be published periodically by the Compliance Team. America’s Credit Unions will keep members informed on these and other resources as they become available.
